2 Peter

Friedrich Nietzsche, the famous atheist, once made a profoundly “Christian” statement. He said, “The essential thing in heaven and earth is that there should be a long obedience in the same direction; there thereby results, and has always resulted in the long run, something which has made life worth living.” The Apostle Peter said essentially the same thing in his final epistle, 2 Peter, penned near the end of his life. These are final words to aliens and exiles in this world; people like us face many headwinds as we await the coming of our Lord.
