Note for our Tuesday morning groups: Service is built into our time in our groups, as a natural outpouring of our relationship with Christ. We request that each of our women serve one morning this semester in our children’s program, modeling Jesus’ love for our little ones.
Closer Look at Jesus through the books Ezra and Nehemiah
Join us as we study the powerful books of Ezra and Nehemiah—stories of rebuilding, renewal, and faith in action. These lessons show how God restores what is broken and strengthens those who seek Him, even in challenging times. Together, we’ll discover practical encouragement for our own lives as we learn what it means to persevere, lead with courage, and trust God’s plan. Come be a part of a community of women growing in faith and purpose.
This women’s small group option offers bible study, accountability, community connection and prayer at a weekly lunch at Saladworks. Individually, women complete weekly homework and watch the corresponding teaching video that we review and discuss in our group over lunch. Please note that the public setting creates limitations of confidentiality, but it also offers an opportunity for community visibility of women studying God’s word.
The study includes 15 minutes of homework per day and small group discussion. It is appropriate for all levels of Bible knowledge.

Ruth: A Discovery Bible Group
Join us as we explore the book of Ruth. God’s grand story of redemption for all creation can be found in seemingly mundane events: tragedy, integrity in the face of opposition, and generosity. The book of Ruth invites us to consider how God might be at work in our lives.
We will use the Discovery Bible Group method for studying Ruth. Each week we will read the text together, spend 10 minutes answering 4 questions on our own and then discuss them as a group. What do I learn about God in this text? What do I learn about myself and the human condition? What can I obey in this text? What is a core truth I can share with someone else? We end each session using the P.R.A.Y. method of prayer. There is minimal homework outside of the group.

Practicing the Way: The Practices
by John Mark Comer
Be with Jesus. Become like him. Do as he did. That is our calling as followers of Jesus. By adopting not just the teaching but the practices from Jesus’ own life, we open up our entire being to God and allow him to transform us into people of love. In this group we will explore 2 core practices of Jesus, beginning with four sessions on Fasting. The second 4-session practice will be decided by the group (i.e. scripture, solitude, service, or community.)
Each session includes video teaching, time for reflection, guided discussion, and exercises to regularly integrate fasting into our life. We will discover simple, practical suggestions to help begin a lifelong journey living out fasting. For those who want to go deeper, there is an optional book for each course; for The Fasting Practice it is “God’s Chosen Fast” by Arthur Wallis. We will seek to deepen our relationships and community by incorporating a service project or community meal each month.

Parables: The Greatest Stories Ever Told
By John White
We all love a good story. But the parables of Jesus are even better than that. They sneak up on us, catching us off guard and toppling our easy assumptions. When the familiar takes an unexpected twist, we find our secret thoughts exposed to the healing light of Jesus. This study introduces the greatest stories ever told. Learn how your life might be changed through them.
For this study there will be scripture readings and study questions that will take about 1 hour each week to complete. On Thursday evenings we will discuss the study questions. There will also be opportunities to participate in a service project and social event.
There is no registration fee for this study but please order your book online before the first session on January 8. Books are available at Amazon, Christian Book and other retailers.
