Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.
We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.
God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Justice & Mercy, and Cultural Engagement. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.
Welcome to Willowdale. We’re glad you found us and hope you’ll check us out. As a church we believe our mission is to love God, love each other and love the world that Jesus, through his people, is working to restore. Our mission drives everything we do from how we worship together on a Sunday to the ministry work we do both inside and outside the church.
As we continue our Year of Relationships we’re going to move from friendship to romance as we look at another book of the bible and what it teaches us about romantic love.
Join us for our Maundy Thursday Service, 24 Hour Prayer Vigil, and one of our Easter Sunday Services! Join us as we take time to praise God for who he is and that he is fully alive and keeps his promises!
A team of 18 will depart from Kennett Square to head to the other side of the globe as part of a mission trip by our church to serve Bible Translation missionaries. Join us in partnering with this team!
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward transformation and a way that we publicly declare our new life in Christ. Our next Baptism Sunday will be on March 26 at both campuses.
God is at work and we want to gather as a church to thank Him, exalt Him, and to boldly seek Him. Join us for a church-wide, family friendly, evening of worship and prayer on March 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kennett Campus.
Programs for children, youth and those with special needs at each campus.
