Our Church

Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

People equipping people to live and love like Jesus every day is our mission at Willowdale. This mission drives everything we do from how we worship together on Sunday to the ministry work we do both inside and outside the church. Along with the core ministries you’d expect at a church—kids, students, and adults—we offer a variety of specialty ministries designed to meet people in unique seasons and challenges of life. Each ministry provides support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow in faith as we learn to live and love like Jesus.

Our Outreach

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

About Recovery Alive

Everyone has broken places. Whether you’re struggling with addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply the weight of life, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Recovery Alive is a Christ-centered recovery community designed to help people find hope, healing, freedom, and meaningful connection through a 12 step recovery process centered around the “3 P’s,” The POWER of Recovery, The PEOPLE of Recovery, and the PROCESS of Recovery. Come as you are and discover that God can restore life to the places that feel broken.

Through biblical teaching, honest community, and a guided Christ-centered recovery process, Recovery Alive provides a safe place every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at Willowdale’s Kennett campus to take the next step toward wholeness.
