We are made to bring glory to God. And we’re called to be disciples who make disciples. One of the ways we pursue and live out our discipleship is by serving those in and outside our church. No matter your age or stage there is a way and a place to serve at Willowdale. We invite you to jump in and join in the mission. We are always looking for new volunteers.
HOSPITALITY
We set the stage for the gospel to be heard! From the door to your seat, our hospitality teams are the smiling faces making guests feel welcomed and loved at Willowdale! Whether we’re serving coffee, greeting new families, or finding guests seats– we make Willowdale feel like home.
WILLOWDALE KIDS
Our Willowdale Kids environment is a loving and fun community, where kids actively learn what it means to follow Christ. Whether leading a small group or serving behind the scenes, there are many opportunities to use your gifts to impact the lives of the next generation.
MUSIC & WORSHIP
The Worship Arts ministry offers people with all types of musical abilities the opportunity to lead our congregation in encountering God’s transformational presence in worship and we’re always looking to grow our teams. Auditions are required. Come join us!
PRODUCTION
The Production team exists to help create opportunities for the church to worship God through Lighting, Audio, Video, Photography and Media. There is no previous experience needed. Bring your skills and desire to learn to help us create excellent services each weekend!
SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT
We believe every individual is precious to God and made for a purpose. That’s why we seek to fully include individuals with special needs in our church family. We provide Respite nights for families; host an annual Night to Shine prom and provide “buddies” for kids on Sunday mornings.
WILLOWDALE STUDENTS
WDS exists to disciple students into a relationship with Jesus and you can play a part. Whether it’s by donating food, helping with events, or leading a small group, there are opportunities throughout the week for you to show the love of Jesus to the next generation.
EVENTS & DECORATING
Do you enjoy planning or serving at events? Anything from orchestrating the plan to building the team to helping with set up or tear down. Or maybe you have panache for seasonal decorating and floral arranging is what you enjoy. If this describes you, please join our team.
DEACON CARE TEAM
Our Deacons are composed of teams that serve the needs for the church and community and support those struggling or needing care. Our teams are always looking for individuals from our church with a heart to serve. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining us as we live on mission together and share the love of Christ.
SAFETY & SECURITY
We desire to create an incredible first impression by offering a safe, comfortable environment for everyone from the moment they enter our property. From medical to fire safety and security issues, it’s critical to have a plan for protecting our people. Would you join us in keeping people safe during our Sunday services? No experience necessary.
