Our Church

Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.

Our Outreach

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

Additional Women’s Groups

Second Wednesday for Moms

First Friday for Moms is now Second Wednesday for Moms (SWiM) and will still provide community and support for women raising children with special needs. Join us in-person on the Second Wednesday of the month (September-June) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. starting on Wednesday, September 11. We will discuss a variety of topics geared toward raising children with special needs. Please contact Alison Kelisek for more information.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS)

Southern Chester County CBS: Matthew

We are an interdenominational Women & Children’s Bible study. This 2024-25 class year we will be studying the Gospel of Matthew. We would love to have you join us as we study the ministry of Jesus thru the eyes of Matthew the tax collector.

This Women/Children’s group meets at Willowdale Chapel-Jennersville Campus, 111 Vineyard Way, West Grove, PA 19390 every Thursday morning from 9:15-11:15 and runs from September 2024 through May 2025. We have classes from birth through 5 yrs and homeschool classes for 6-14 yr olds. The homeschool classes always study the same subjects as their moms, just geared to their level. What a great way to engage & discuss the Bible with your children.

LONGWOOD CBS: Matthew

Longwood CBS will be studying the first gospel account in the New Testament. Matthew wrote this book primarily to his fellow Jews proving that Jesus’ life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament Prophecies concerning the Messiah. Through studying Matthew’s account, you will encounter the clear claims that Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Messiah the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, Immanuel, God with us.

Come join us in person at Willowdale Chapel-Kennett Campus on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. The in-person group is for both men and women and includes a children’s program for infants through age 5. We hope to bring back our home school program this year if there is a need. Online groups are available for both men and women Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm as well as online groups for women Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am.
