Our Church

Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.

Our Outreach

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

Additional Women’s Groups

Second Wednesday for Moms

First Friday for Moms is now Second Wednesday for Moms (SWiM) and will still provide community and support for women raising children with special needs. Join us in-person on the Second Wednesday of the month (September-June) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. starting on Wednesday, September 10. We will discuss a variety of topics geared toward raising children with special needs. Please contact Alison Kelisek for more information.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS)

Southern Chester County CBS: Psalms

We are an interdenominational Women & Children’s Bible study. This 2025-26 class year we will be studying the Psalms.  This book of the Bible has served as the hymnbook & prayer book for God’s people from ancient times into the present. This Holy Spirit inspired poetry guides us into honest communication with God & shows us how to draw near to Him in our struggles of everyday life. 

This Women/Children’s group meets at Willowdale Chapel-Jennersville Campus, 111 Vineyard Way, West Grove, PA 19390 every Thursday morning from 9:15-11:15and runs from September 2025 through May 2026. We have classes from birth through 5 yrs and homeschool classes for 6-14 yr olds.  The homeschool classes always study the same subjects as their moms, just geared to their level. What a great way to engage & discuss the Bible with your children.

LONGWOOD CBS: Psalms

Longwood CBS will be studying the Psalms which served as the hymnbook and prayerbook for God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures and the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. The Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their   ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.

Come join us in person at Willowdale Chapel-Kennett Campus on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. These in-person group are for both men and women and includes a children’s program for infants through age 5. We hope to bring back our home school program this year if there is a need based on sign-ups. Online groups are available for both men and women Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm as well as online groups for women Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am.
