Night to Shine Volunteer FAQ

What do I wear?

All roles (except buddies and Paparazzi) wear white tops and black bottoms. Buddies and Paparazzi can be more dressed up/ Business smart, but all will need comfortable shoes! You could be on your feet for a long time!

Buddy Support and Medical Volunteers will be given their colored shirts upon arrival.

Where do I park?

Onsite Parking is reserved for guests. We have one local parking lot off-site for volunteers and will have buses running from 4:15pm until 9:45pm. Once you have parked, follow directions to the shuttle. We recommend carpooling where possible as parking availability is very limited.

Parking Location: St Michael’s Lutheran Church – 109 E Doe Run Road, Unionville PA 19375

What do I bring?

Just bring yourselves and minimal valuables. The event is free for everyone. We have space for coats and bags but there will be over 1000 people in the building for the prom.

Will I get to eat?

Yes!! If you are a buddy, you will eat with your guest at the buffet. If you are a volunteer in another area, there is pizza provided.

What time is it all happening?

We are asking all buddies to be on-site at 4:45 p.m., and paparazzi and food volunteers at 5:00 p.m. Due to parking off-site you should allow yourselves 15 minutes to get to the church.
