When life gets hard it’s good to know that we’re not alone. We have God above and people all around who care. Let’s be a church who goes out of our way to show others we care – our friends, neighbors, colleagues, someone we know who might be struggling. Let’s reach out to those who know Jesus, but intentionally think about those who don’t. Those who may feel all alone in their pain or struggle and don’t know Christ, or maybe they do but are feeling lost in this season.
Throughout this Lenten season, we want to be a church that INTENTIONALLY BLESSES people! Do you know someone who’s hurting, lost a job, sick, grieving a loss? Someone who is struggling emotionally, physically, financially, or spiritually? Let’s encourage them, pray for them, connect with them and bless them!
As a church, we want to provide a care package to anyone who you believe needs it. And we want to invite you to give it to them personally. The care package will include your choice of one of the following:
- $100 Grocery gift card
- Flower Arrangement
- Fruit Basket
Plus, we will provide a greeting card for you sign and a prayer card enclosed for them. On the back of the prayer card is an easy way for them to send anonymous or personal prayer requests back to the church. This is also a chance to open the door for you to share your hope in Jesus, your trust in God and to pray for them.
