Note for our Wednesday morning groups:  Service is built into our time in our groups, as a natural outpouring of our relationship with Christ.  We request that each of our women serve one morning this semester in our children’s program, modeling Jesus’ love for our little ones.

Closer Look at Jesus through the Book of Acts: Part 1

We know it’s vital to study God’s Word, but sometimes it’s difficult to know where to begin. Join us as we learn together how to engage both our minds and our hearts, looking for Jesus in the pages of Acts. This book builds on Luke’s Gospel, detailing the exciting account of the early church, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with the world. We’ll see that the same power that transformed the lives of early believers is still working to transform our lives — daring us to continue the story as we live for Jesus.

The study includes live teaching, daily homework and group discussion plus great opportunities to fellowship with other Christian women. Questions focus on the daily reading and application questions for your own life. It is appropriate for all levels of Bible knowledge.

Abide: A Study of 1, 2, and 3 John

by Jen Wilkin
The MomCo Track

In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.

This study includes homework, video teachings plus dynamic small group discussion.

The Armor of God

by Priscilla Shirer

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your relationships, and your resilience. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you are tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

Join us as we learn how to prepare for the attack of the Enemy. The Armor of God is a video- driven study with an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. This in-depth study runs from September 17 – November 19, 2026, and continues January 7 – March 18, 2027.

You will receive your study book at our first session. We will watch videos and discuss them and the homework. Homework is roughly 45 minutes/day for 5 days. There will be opportunities to participate in a service project and social event.

Closer Look at Jesus through the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah

Join us as we study the powerful books of Ezra and Nehemiah—stories of rebuilding, renewal, and faith in action. These lessons show how God restores what is broken and strengthens those who seek Him, even in challenging times. Historically, the two books were written as a unified work, documenting the return of the Jewish exiles to Jerusalem. We will complete an overview of Ezra and take a deep dive into the book of Nehemiah.

Together, we’ll discover practical encouragement for our own lives as we learn what it means to persevere, lead with courage, trust God’s plan and rebuild after failure. Come be a part of a community of women growing in faith and purpose.

The study includes 15 minutes of homework for 5 days each week. When we meet, we will watch videos of the Willowdale Chapel women’s teaching team and have group discussions. It is appropriate for all levels of Bible knowledge. There will be opportunities to participate in a service project and social event.

Women of the Old Testament: Ordinary Faith that Changed History

By LifeGuide Bible Studies

They were ordinary people. Most would not make headlines in any other history book but God’s. Yet the women of the Old Testament made critical choices that led to extraordinary outcomes. Through their faith and strong character, they rescued their families, led people out of bondage, gave birth to kings, and even saved a nation. Through studying the lives of Old Testament women like Eve, Hagar, Miriam, Ruth, Hannah, the Shunammite woman, and more, you will see how your own everyday choices and actions can also have far-reaching impact. Let their choices challenge you, apply the lessons they learned to your own life, and let their faith and praise inspire your own.

For this study there will be scripture readings and study questions that will take about 1 hour each week to complete. On Thursday evenings we will discuss the study questions. There will also be opportunities to participate in a service project, a social event and a group dinner.

There is no registration fee for this study but please order your book online before the first session on September 17. Books are available at Amazon, Christian Book and other retailers.
