Our Church

Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.

Our Outreach

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

About Summer Blast

Kids ages 3 through 56ers are invited to join Willowdale Kids at Summer Blast 2026! The theme this year is Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God. Kids will explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. We are so excited to experience God’s love alongside your children this summer! Summer Blast will be held at each campus the following dates:

Kennett Campus: July 13 – July 16 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.
Jennersville Campus: July 20 – July 23 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Volunteer at Summer Blast

At Willowdale, we believe our Next Generation is not the church of the future, but the church of today. We seek to pass on our faith and are committed to God’s calling of discipleship. Join us as we teach kids about Jesus and unite as a church community to reflect Christ’s love at Summer Blast 2026.

Partner with us July 13-16 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at our Kennett Campus and July 20-23 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at our Jennersville Campus. This is a great opportunity for Students, Young Adults and Parents and anyone who has a heart to serve!
