Our Church

Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.

Our Outreach

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

About Summer Blast

Kids ages 3 through incoming sixth graders are invited to join Willowdale Kids at Summer Blast 2025! The theme this year is True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World and it will be held at each campus the following dates:

Kennett Campus: July 14 – July 17 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Jennersville Campus: July 21 – July 24 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.

There is no registration fee for this event, however, financial contributions would be greatly appreciated to offset the cost of activities, supplies, and snacks. Donations are accepted through the kid registration form.

Volunteer at Summer Blast

At Willowdale, we believe our Next Generation is not the church of the future, but the church of today. We seek to pass on our faith and are committed to God’s calling of discipleship. Join us as we teach kids about Jesus and unite as a church community to reflect Christ’s love at Summer Blast 2025.

Partner with us July 14-17 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at our Kennett Campus and July 21-24 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at our Jennersville Campus. This is a great opportunity for Students, Young Adults and Parents and anyone who has a heart to serve!

Summer Blast 2025

The theme of Summer Blast this year is True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World! True North is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences that kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. We are so excited to experience God’s love alongside your children this summer!

This adventure will take place: Monday, July 14 through Thursday July 17 from 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at our Kennett Campus and Monday, July 21 through Thursday, July 24 from 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at our Jennersville Campus.
