The MomCo

The MomCo, formerly MOPS, is a ministry for all moms who are fostering, adopting, or expecting all the way through school aged children.

Here at The MomCo, we gather and support moms. Our nickname stands for “The Mom Community,” and we are a ministry for all moms at all stages. Whether you are fostering, adopting, expecting, or have children off to school already – all are welcomed. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.

Whether you are new to the area, new to The MomCo or returning from last year, we’re so excited to have you! Our theme for this year is “Wild Hope.” We’re declaring this the year of new things. A new season needs a new strategy, and we choose wild, contagious hope. Hope is not a passive exercise in wishing; it’s an active approach to living life engaged. Hope is generative. Hope provides clarity, vision, and vitality. Looking at the adversity and division that seems to be seeping into the fabric of our culture, hope offers another option – the opportunity to see new paths and ways of living that we might not have considered before. It reminds us that we can make a positive difference in our families and communities and that tough times will not paralyze us. Hope requires courage and trust because to see the new thing God is doing likely means going into the wilds – paths that take us through uncomfortable places and challenges that nourish our deepest longing. God is doing something new, and we can get our hopes up. It’s time for Wild Hope.

Jennersville Campus

The Jennersville Campus MomCo meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 9:15-11:15 a.m. September through May. The 2nd Friday is our large group gathering where we have food, a speaker, and discussion groups. During this time, childcare is provided. The 4th Friday will be a workshop or playdate. For more information about the Jennersville MomCo, please fill out our Connect form.

Kennett Campus

The Kennett Campus MomCo meets on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. September through May. This is an opportunity for working and stay at home moms to come together, without their kids, to build community and relationships. We also encourage MomCo families to join us for other ministry opportunities with our young family gatherings. For moms who are looking to gather on a weekday morning with kid’s programing, we are pleased to be offering a “MomCo Track” at our Wednesday mornings Women’s Group. For more information about The MomCo, please contact Amanda Irwin or Kristianna Nelson
